Al Raisi inaugurates the Future Innovation Summit in Dubai, with the participation of 60 countries
His Excellency Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the American University in the Emirates, inaugurated the fifth edition of the Future Innovation Summit today (Monday). The summit brings together 4,000 experts and specialists from 60 countries worldwide, including innovation leaders and decision-makers, to exchange knowledge, showcase new developments, and provide networking opportunities for public figures and local, regional, and international investors. Over two days, the summit will discuss six key themes related to health technology, education technology, artificial intelligence, food security, sustainability, and agriculture. In his opening remarks, Al Raisi praised the UAE's leading role in utilizing artificial intelligence to serve humanity, enhance human well-being, and improve quality of life. He noted that the UAE occupies a prominent global position in adopting artificial intelligence across various sectors, solidifying its status as a global AI powerhouse. This is attributed to progressive policies, advanced infrastructure, and well-considered investments that enhance its competitiveness on the international stage.

He emphasized the importance of exchanging ideas, values, and experiences, and exploring ways to implement them safely and cost-effectively through partnerships to achieve goals, protect societies, and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity.
Al Raisi said, "Innovations in human development, from the invention of simple tools to today's sophisticated devices and systems, represent a crucial part of the evolution of human life. In today's world, numerous innovations in various aspects of life are inseparable from our contemporary lives and have a powerful impact on how we live, work, and interact with one another."
He affirmed that the development of innovation in science, technology, and knowledge has been a powerful driving force behind the rapid pace of human progress and its positive impact on various aspects of life, holding immense future potential. Major General Ahmed Al Raisi also inaugurated the accompanying exhibition, which features more than 40 local and international companies specializing in artificial intelligence across various sectors, including health, education, food, and robotics.
The summit will host 67 local and international speakers participating in 16 main scientific sessions, in addition to training workshops held as part of the summit's activities.
His Excellency Ahmed Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee of the Summit, affirmed that Dubai's hosting of this summit aligns with the directives of our wise leadership, which supports innovations for the future to ensure the well-being and happiness of humanity everywhere, based on the transfer of knowledge, technology, and science.
